Megan Moroney Is a ‘Loyal Belieber’, Once ‘Handmade Shirts’ Inspired by Kesha’s ‘TiK ToK’ for 1 of His Shows…

On Wednesday, March 12, the country singer, 27, opened up to Rolling Stone in a cover story about her longstanding love for the “Baby” hitmaker, 31 — and how she showed her support as a fan when she was younger.
Ahead of one of his concerts, Moroney made shirts inspired by Kesha’s 2010 hit “TiK ToK” that read “Dudes are linin’ up ’cause they hear we got fever, but we kick ’em to the curb unless they look like J Bieber.”

Elsewhere in the interview, the “No Caller ID” musician revealed that she is in the process of working on a third album.
“We wrote the crap out of these songs,” Moroney told the outlet. “We exerted all of our options on every verse, every word.”
One of the songs she’s written, “You for Me,” she wants to be a duet. Ideally, the other singer on the track would be Bieber.
Maybe he would feel that way about Hailey. I know he does,” Moroney said of the song’s lyrics.
The “I’m Not Pretty” artist released her second record Am I Okay? in July 2024, just a year after her debut Lucky.
The self-proclaimed “emo cowgirl” was prepared for comparisons between the two projects.
“It sounds like Lucky’s cooler older cousin that can drink,” she told PEOPLE in July 2024, “and I think that just sonically, it feels more advanced. I wrote it with the intention of playing bigger venues.”
