On Thursday, Sept. 19, the tennis champion, 42, spoke at the INBOUND event with podcast host and editor Kara Swisher about Serena Ventures, the venture capital fund backed and founded by her in 2017, at HubSpot’s annual gathering in Boston.

She also discussed the challenges of raising two young girls with all of the “negative energy out there.”“It’s a scary world. It’s a digital world for kids right now. I’m always on with my daughter, but we don’t allow her on certain platforms,” Williams said.
