Jennifer Lopez canceled her upcoming media appearances as the deadly wildfires have spread across Los Angeles…
As per a recent report by People magazine, the Unstoppable actress has postponed all her forthcoming Public engagements that were scheduled for next weeks.
It’s important to her to focus on supporting the community of Los Angeles during this very difficult time,” a source told the outlet.
The 55-year-old singer had appearances on shows in New York City, including The View, Live with Kelly and Mark, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and the Today Show.
This report came a few days after Lopez‘s new movie Unstoppable’s Los Angeles premiere was canceled due to wind and fire alarms in the Californian city.
A media representative of the movie’s distributor, Amazon MGM Studios, noted in a statement that the premiere was canceled “in light of today’s safety concerns around heightened wind activity and fire outbreaks in Los Angeles.”
“As much as we were looking forward to celebrating this wonderful and inspiring film with you, safety is our first priority,” the statement continued. “Thank you for your understanding and please stay safe.”
Other events canceled due to the deadly wildfire include the Critics Choice Awards and the delay in the announcement of Academy Award nominations.
