Brittany Mahomes hides third daughter’s name as she celebrates another family member’s special day…
Mahomes prepares for the Chiefs’ pivotal Week 14 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers, Brittany shared a touching family moment featuring one of the family’s beloved dogs, Steel. The adorable celebration was highlighted on her Instagram story, where Brittany posted a video of Steel enjoying a sunny day outside.
“Birthday boy living his best life outside today!! It feels ahhhhhmazing!!” she captioned the clip, giving fans a glimpse into the heartwarming celebration.
Gifted to Brittany as a Valentine’s present during their college days, Steel holds a special place in the Mahomes family. His name even carries a unique backstory.
As a former Pittsburgh Steelers fan, Brittany named the pup “Steel” in honor of her former favorite team. Despite Patrick’s dominance on the field for the Chiefs, a small piece of Pittsburgh nostalgia remains in their home.
The Mahomes family includes another dog, Silver, and Brittany often refers to the two dogs as their “kids.”
In fact, Brittany has been known to joke that with Steel, Silver, daughter Sterling and son Bronze, the family has “four kids.”
While Steel enjoyed his birthday spotlight, Brittany was also busy with some classic holiday parenting struggles. Like many parents, she tried to capture the perfect Christmas photo of her two-year-old son, Bronze, with Santa Claus. However, things didn’t go as planned.
In a hilariously relatable post, Brittany shared a photo of Bronze looking less than thrilled about his encounter with Santa.
“Of course he was smiley and in a great mood once he wasn’t close to Santa,” she joked.
