Jason Kelce Says the Kelce Family Doesn’t Have a Group Chat — But He Wants to Start One
“There isn’t…there probably should be,” Jason says. “At least with the main people involved,” he continues, likely referring to his parents Donna and Ed Kelce, brother Travis Kelce and wife Kylie Kelce.
“There probably should be a group chat at this point…maybe I’ll get that started,” Jason adds while promoting his partnership with Kingsford charcoal.
2025 is sure to be a big year for Kelce. He’s expecting his fourth daughter with Kylie and on Saturday, Jan. 4, the former Philadelphia Eagle hosted the first episode of his new show, They Call It Late Night with Jason Kelce, on ESPN.
However, Kelce says despite his full plate for 2025, he doesn’t make resolutions heading into a new year.
“I feel like if you’re waiting for the New Year’s to make a resolution, it’s probably not something you’re actually going to change, but I do like sometimes like giving things up for a brief time period, whether it’s New Year’s resolutions, or my wife’s Catholic, Lent, stuff like that,” says the former NFL star. “I think sometimes it’s good to restrict yourself from your desires that you constantly are succumbing to.”
Still, Kelce says he’s looking forward to taking “a break from football for a little bit” once he concludes the Monday Night Countdown season.
“I think it’ll be fun to spend more time with the family once the season’s over, but it’ll also be more fun to venture out,” says Kelce. “You know, I’ve been knee-deep in football all season long. So it’ll be fun to kind of take a break from football for a little bit.”
Both Donna and Ed were in attendance for the first taping of They Call It Late Night in Philadelphia, and fans were pleased to see Kylie get plenty of screen time as well.
ESPN has described the show as “a new personality-driven, one-hour program that will run in conjunction with the finale of the NFL regular season and playoffs where Kelce will take the audience on a ride showcasing his oversized personality and infectious humor.”
Each of its five episodes will feature celebrity guests along with the former Philadelphia Eagles star discussing the NFL combined with comedy and live music.
