Travis Kelce stunned fans and on-lookers at the 150th Kentucky Derby as he rocked up to the prestigious horse-racing event in a white pinstripe suit and blue fedora that made him look more like an Al Capone henchman rather than a Kansas City Chiefs footballer, so who picked out that outfit in particular?

The NFL star Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky on Saturday, May 4 which is often a magnet for those with money as other celebrities such as The Chainsmokers, Jimmy Fallon and Paige Spiranac were all in attendance too in a crowd hitting 150,000 people.

Kelce was flexing his wealth after recently becoming the highest-paid tight end of all time, not too long after winning his third Super Bowl ring with the Chiefs after they beat the San Francisco 49ers, but he had to flex alone.

Taylor Swift was not in attendance as she prepares to resume her Eras Tour in Europe as she heads to Paris on May 6 to kick off a hectic schedule across the Atlantic Ocean, meaning she probably didn’t pick this outfit out for her man.

The pair have been in a relationship since August 2023 but it’s not uncommon for them to be apart due to their demanding schedules and that’s something that the couple seems to be okay with.

Fans react to Kelce’s fit

But Kelce had a good time as he mingled with fans, friends and the crowd and he even managed to win a bet as he was captured enthusiastically celebrating his latest victory.

In fact, it’s the fans who were quick to point out comparisons between the 34-year-old’s dress sense and the attire worn by mobsters such as Al Capone, as they jokingly wondered if he’s a part of the mafia.

One user commented on Instagram, “Travis Kelce rolling up to the Kentucky Derby in a mob boss suit with security and police officers escorting him… your honor, he’s slaying!!!!”

A second added, “Rocking the mafia vibe..”
