“He will then get a movie career, he’ll be bigger than the Rock,”: Howard Stern Has a Bold Message for Travis Kelce Amid Taylor Swift Relationship
Howard Stern is the latest celebrity to offer their two cents on Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s relationship, and the radio host’s sage advice for the couple is well, quite stern.
During the latest episode of his SiriusXM show, Stern was talking to ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith about the two lovers when he insisted that the Kansas City Chiefs player simply has to marry Swift.
“Travis Kelce has to marry Taylor Swift,” Stern, 70, said with conviction, prompting Smith to ask why he feels so strongly about a possible Tayvis wedding.
“Why? What are you talking about?” Stern replied, before going into all the perks he believes Kelce, 34, will get if he marries the “Cruel Summer” songstress.
“He will then get a movie career, he’ll be bigger than the Rock,” Stern argued. While Smith, 56, didn’t seem to disagree, he also made sure to point out that Kelce is already made quite the name for himself, even before he began dating Swift, 34.
“First of all, let’s say this. He is a two-time Super Bowl champion. He’s on the verge of potentially being a three-time Super Bowl champion,” the sports analyst countered. “[Kelce is] universally recognized as one of the greatest tight ends in the history of football.”
Plus, he’s a “good looking dude,” who has “got style, got flair” and “got skills,” according to Smith, who thinks Kelce has a bright future ahead of him even when he retires from football.
“He’s got skills, he’s got a future in this business right here once he retires from football—I’m here to tell you that,” Smith continued. “Because he’s got the look, he’s got the style, he’s got the stature, he’s got the pizzazz. He’s the total package.”
But while Smith’s is confident that Kelce doesn’t need Swift to continue thriving in his career, he also said the same goes for the “Bejeweled” singer, whom he called “incredible” in her own right.
