In Response To Lady Gaga’s Social Media Post, Taylor Swift Comments On Pregnancy Speculations
Taylor Swift is acutely aware of the rumors circulating on social media, even when if they don’t directly involve her. This awareness was evident earlier this week when Lady Gaga addressed pregnancy rumors on TikTok, dismissing them by saying she’s “not pregnant – just down bad cryin’ at the gym.”
Swift took the opportunity to comment on Gaga’s video, addressing the invasive nature of such rumors. “Can we all agree that it’s invasive and irresponsible to comment on a woman’s body,” Swift remarked. “Gaga doesn’t owe anyone an explanation, and neither does any woman.”
Swift is no stranger to dealing with pregnancy rumors. In 2020, she recalled her experience of being scrutinized at a young age. “I remember how, when I was 18, that was the first time I was on the cover of a magazine,” Swift said. “And the headline was like ‘Pregnant at 18?’ simply because I wore something that made my lower stomach look not flat. I registered that as a punishment.”
