Jason Kelce, Travis Kelce brother‘Hurt’ by his Decision After Losing Super Bowl…

Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce recently announced that he will return for a 13th season after mulling retirement following their loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX.
Kelce said he still has a lot to give at 35 years old and owes it to his teammates to help them reclaim the crown they relinquished in February.
The Chiefs tight end had a lethargic start last season, with some critics blaming his much-publicized relationship with pop star Taylor Swift. He eventually picked up his performance, contributing to Kansas City’s third consecutive trip to the championship round.
In the latest episode of their “New Heights” podcast, Kelce told his brother, former NFL center Jason Kelce, that he simply based his decision on his gut feeling.
“I’m not big on measuring the pros and cons, I just go off of feel,” said the Chiefs veteran.
The elder Kelce said he’s always admired that quality of the seven-time All-Pro member. However, he also stated, albeit half-jokingly, that he didn’t appreciate one thing about his younger brother.
We didn’t really talk pointedly about this,” said Jason Kelce. “You never asked my advice on this, (while) I asked your advice (about my retirement). So I feel a little hurt.”
The former Philadelphia Eagles star added that he knew early on that his little brother would not hang his cleats yet.
“You wanted to come back,” said Jason Kelce. “After the game (against the Eagles), it left like that a week, two weeks after.
“I was like, ‘Alright, he’s gonna play again. He’s not ready to stop.'”
Travis Kelce tallied 823 receiving yards and three touchdowns this season, both career-lows, excluding his rookie season, wherein he only played one game due to a knee injury.
