Kansas City Chiefs Schedule 2024: When are the Chiefs playing the next season?
The Kansas City Chiefs will head into the 2024 NFL season defending their title for the second straight year. A triumph against the San Francisco 49ers saw Patrick Mahomes and his squad win their third Super Bowl within the last five years.
In this upcoming season, the Chiefs will play in the NFL Kickoff Game for the second year in a row. They played the Detroit Lions in the 2023 edition, where they lost against a surprising Lions team.
Kansas City Chiefs 2024 Opponents
In 2024, the Chiefs will face their usual AFC West division rivals a total of 6 times.
Denver Broncos
Las Vegas Raiders
Los Angeles Chargers
Their conference opponents will come from the AFC North and NFC South. Their one inter-conference opponent will be the 49ers, in what will be a rematch of last season’s Super Bowl.
Aside from their division opponents, the Chiefs will host these teams at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.
Baltimore Ravens
Cincinnati Bengals
Houston Texans
New Orleans Saints
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
As for the teams they will be visiting on the road, they are as follows.
Cleveland Browns
Pittsburgh Steelers
Buffalo Bills
Atlanta Falcons
Carolina Panthers
San Francisco 49ers
Given the nature of a 17-game schedule, the Chiefs will play one more road game than home game in 2024. Given that the Chiefs went 6-2 on the road last season, they probably won’t mind.
