PEOPLE has the exclusive premiere of a new General Mills spot starring Jason, Kylie and Donna Kelce, as well as brothers TJ and JJ Watt, as they encourage fans to embrace their game-day rituals this season…
The fun spot opens with Jason, 37, showing his wife Kylie, 32, how he’s perfectly compiled pieces of his Lucky Charms cereal to fit his superstition on game-day.
“Ky, this is the same magical formula I used last week — and we won,” Jason tells an apprehensive Kylie in the ad.
“I’m still making a difference,” adds an excited Jason, who retired from the NFL in March and joined ESPN’s Monday Night Countdown in September.
TJ, 30, then shows his brother JJ, 35, his carefully-constructed Old El Paso taco tower and jokes, “They call me the Michelangelo of tacos,” before admitting that “they” is just their mom and dad.
Before the spot ends, Donna chimes in with her game-day tradition: cookies! “Everybody knows it’s Pillsbury cookies that win on game day,” Donna tells the group as both the NFL families sit down in front of the TV to cheer on their teams.
Jason says in a statement shared with PEOPLE, “For years, I had the same game day routine, but now that I’m tuning in from home, my ritual is fueling up with the family and enjoying time together.”
The father-of-three (with a fourth on the way!) said it’s been “so special” to share his family’s “love for football over my childhood favorite foods” like Lucky Charms and Pillsbury cookies.
There’s nothing like starting game day with a bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch and getting to wear sweatpants all day — it’s the ultimate comfort combo,” Jason shared.
Kylie added, “On or off the field, we love cheering on our favorite players and eating our favorite snacks. To fuel our football fun, I make sure to have our favorite General Mills cereals ready for the family to start the day and keep easy and delicious snacks like Chex Mix on hand, too.”
“And with Jason home with us this season, we go through them fast,” Kylie teased.
