Travis Kelce Reveals How Taylor Swift Helped Him Fix His Broken Heart After Chiefs Lost Super Bowl to Eagles…

Super Bowl LIX witnessed the Chiefs versus Eagles rivalry once again but with a completely different outcome. The Eagles went home with the Lombardi Trophy, leaving the Chiefs moping about their missed three-peat and 22-40 lopsided loss.
Last year, the red team celebrated their Super Bowl win by blasting Taylor Swift’s remixes in a Vegas nightclub. While the tides turned this year, the Chiefs still threw a bash. But the somber mood was evident as several players chose to skip the party, and this included Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.
Kelce, right after the big game, was seen heading to his girlfriend, Taylor Swift’s suite at Caesars Superdome, with his head hanging low. Not only this, but he skipped his team’s after-party. Kelce chose quiet time for himself and later headed back for a low-key night at his Airbnb. Dejection became the theme for the rest of the night with an insider revealing, “Everyone just went back to their rooms or Airbnbs and just stayed in.”
In a now-deleted X post from The Chainsmokers, fans got a sneak peek into Trav’s post-Super Bowl hangout when the DJ duo was seen FaceTiming the veteran TE. It seemed like a small gathering with just close friends hanging out. Usual banter filled the conversation, and although it’s unclear whether Tay was at the Airbnb, Trav’s phone’s camera panned to DJ Dom Dolla standing right next to him. Now just over a month later, he is still coming to terms with the loss, and this is what the Kelce brothers discussed in their new podcast episode.
Jason, the only way you can find yourself in the light is to find yourself in the dark first. I listen to music that is very telling of my mood, yes,” Travis Kelce responded. Now, that’s where things get pretty juicy. When Jason said that he likes sad country songs, Travis went straight up and said, “Yeah, I just listen to Taylor’s music. She has something for everything […] yeah, and how the Eagles broke my heart.”
Now, there’s no denying that almost half of the world probably listens to Taylor Swift. No matter what mood you’re in, there’s a solid chance Swift has a song for it. Feeling heartbroken? All Too Well will hit you right in the feels. Falling in love? Lover makes everything feel like a rom-com. Need a confidence boost? The Man is basically a power anthem. And if you just wanna vibe? Shake It Off will have you dancing like nobody’s watching.
