The trouble with being a huge celebrity like Tom Brady is that none of your personal life ever stays out of the limelight, and his once amicable divorce from Gisele Bundchen is a prime example. While the split was amicable once upon a time, new details have since emerged and Brady has been unable to escape comments about his break-up.
That proved to be the case on Sunday night when Netflix aired ‘The Roast of Tom Brady’, which saw the former New England Patriots star relentlessly mocked by the likes of Kevin Hart and Drew Bledsoe.
Comedian and movie star Hart didn’t hold back whatsoever in his prepared jokes, focusing on Brady’s divorce from the Brazilian former supermodel and how he jeopardized his marriage by continuing his football career until the age of 45.
“When you got a chance to go 8-9 and all it will cost you is your wife and your kids, you gotta do what the f*** you gotta do,” Hart said. “You gotta do it.”
It was more awkward by the fact Bundchen was in the crowd, supporting Brady on his big night as the pair look to stay on good terms while they co-parent their children. But that only gave Hart more ammunition to strike below the belt.
Having complimented Bundchen for standing by her ex-husband, he then added: “But just for full transparency, she came as [Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver] Antonio Brown’s plus one.”

Hart twists the knife
Recent reports claimed that Bundchen, 43, cheated on Brady with her jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente, who is now her partner. She denied those reports, claiming it was “a lie” and fumed that “women get blamed when they have the courage to leave an unhealthy relationship”.
But that didn’t stop Hart from aiming for her as well as Brady, comparing his decision to leave Patriots coach Bill Belichick behind with how she begun her relationship with Valente.
“You f***ed him good,” Hart said about Brady’s decision to leave Belichick. “You did Tom, you f***ed your coach. But let me tell you something, that’s what you got to do to maintain your happiness.
