The Kansas City Chiefs are Super Bowl winners again but this victory could mark the beginning of a dynasty with Patrick MahomesTravis Kelce and Andy Reid at the top of their game. Their 25-22 triumph over the San Francisco 49ers was not only their third in four years, it was the first time Taylor Swift had seen her boyfriend win a Super Bowl ring and that in itself is cause for celebration.

The Chiefs are throwing themselves a city-wide party on Wednesday, February 14 to savor their success, with Kansas City mayor Quinton Lucas giving it the green light after KC became the first team since the Patriots to retain the NFL championship.

They will roll through familiar streets through the Missouri city, starting at 6th Street in the River Market and finishing at Pershing Road in front of Union Station. This time, however, the parade won’t be passing by City Market, keeping things fresh but familiar.

Will Taylor Swift join Travis Kelce for the parade?

Swift is yet to reveal her plans for the coming days after making the exhausting journey from Japan to Las Vegas, flying across nine time zones just to catch the Super Bowl in the flesh.

Her Eras Tour commitments could throw a spanner in the works, as she now faces another long-haul flight to Melbourne, Australia for the first three concerts on Friday.

The flight is 17 hours itself and Melbourne is 17 hours ahead of Kansas City, meaning she would have to leave on Wednesday afternoon to ensure she has enough time to get there.

How to watch the parade

The Super Bowl parade will start at 11:00 CT (12:00 ET / 09:00 PT). Kansas City residents will be able to follow the whole parade with their local TV station KSHB-41 broadcasting the event on TV and online.

For those watching from afar, the Chiefs‘ celebration will be shown on the NFL Network, with highlights and victory moments. Stream it live on NFL.com or Fubo.
