The Dallas Mavericks make fun of Travis Kelce in front of Patrick Mahomes by teasing him with Taylor Swift

With the NFL season not currently underway and the NBA season reaching the business end, plenty of football stars are popping up all over the country to see some live basketball.

That was certainly the case in Dallas, where Kansas City Chiefs duo Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce were seen courtside watching the Dallas Mavericks take a 3-0 lead over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Mahomes is a three-time Super Bowl winner and is a Texas native, meaning he has never hidden his support for various Dallas-based sports teams. He has been following the Mavs closely and it is no secret that they are his NBA team.

His wife Brittany Mahomes can also be seen sat alongside him in the clip that the Mavs have shared on X.

The camera focuses on Mahomes with Kelce next to him and as the crowd starts to cheer, Mahomes gets up and starts encouraging even more cheers, whilst Kelce applauds and watches on.

The joke comes in the caption to the tweet, which reads: “Our guy Pat and Taylor Swift’s boyfriend in the house!”

Fans were quick to flood the comments showing how funny it was to ignore Kelce’s sporting exploits and focus on his relationship.

The fact that Kelce was down in Dallas to see the game shows how close he is with the Mahomes couple, given he could be back home doing anything else.

Swift was not present as she is currently doing the European leg of her Eras Tour.
